Mercato Fiorentina, il sogno per l’estate è Zaccagni. Rugani…

Tonight’s match against Lazio will be an opportunity for the Viola not only to resume the Champions League discussion but also to closely observe one of the main objectives for next summer: Mattia Zaccagni.

As reported by TMW, the future of the Lazio winger is still to be deciphered. The former Verona player currently has a contract with the Biancoceleste club until 30 June 2025 for 2 million euros per season, bonuses included. There has been a promise of renewal from Lotito for some time, but he made the mistake of being melancholy and prolonging the situation for too long, an attitude that annoyed not only Zaccagni himself but also, and perhaps above all, the prosecutor Giuffredi.

Zaccagni has asked Lazio for a contract until 30 June 2028 worth 3 million euros per season, including bonuses, and Lotito would like to satisfy him before the end of the championship to avoid having to deal with one of the most important players in Sarri’s team next summer expiring in 12 months.

In all of this, Fiorentina is closely observing the matter: a new left winger will certainly arrive even if the size of the investment will depend on the future of Nico Gonzalez. If an offer of around 60 million euros were to arrive on Commisso’s table, the Viola owner would grant the green light and then re-invest a large part of the sum on the incoming market.

In the next few weeks, at least on paper, a meeting is scheduled between Lotito and Zaccagni’s entourage to try to find a solution: the negotiation does not promise to be simple given that first the misunderstandings with Giuffredi will have to be resolved, whose declarations on the renewal of his witnessed they annoyed Lotito a lot.
